This is the mandatory course for the New York State Concealed Carry Firearm Safety Training as required under New York State Law for a NYS Concealed Carry Pistol License.
It is a minimum of 18 hours which includes 16 hour classroom and 2 hour range session.
In order to pass, attendees are required to pass a written examination scoring a minimum of 80% as well as shoot a live fire minimum proficiency qualification at the range.
You do not automatically get a completion certificate without passing the written and practical range sessions.
You must attend all hours of the class in order to be eligible to receive the certificate of training completion, even if scheduled on multiple days, you must attend all sessions and all training hours.
Persons who do not pass the test and/or who do not pass the range practical portion minimum qualification do not pass the class and no certificate is given despite paying for the class.
You are paying for the opportunity to take and pass this class.
If you fail any portion of this class, you must retake and pay for the class in its entirety once again, no exceptions!
