REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Rifle with light attach(any rifle that has the ability to change magazines), sling, 3-4 Magazines, Mag Pouch, Electronic Ear Protection, Eye Protection, 200-300 rounds of ammo, hand held flashlight. Any equipment you want to try out.

PREREQUISITE COURSES: Defensive Rile 1, or relative course with proof.

  • NO LIGHT / LOW LIGHT RIFLE – Phase 3 Training is an advanced, proprietary course focused on the practical application of carbine and modern sporting rifles in low-light and no-light environments. Designed and taught exclusively by CRMP TRAINING LLC dba Phase 3 Training, this program is not NRA approved and is intended for internal use only. All course materials are protected intellectual property and may not be reproduced or shared without express written consent from the owner.

  • Participants will develop proficiency in:● Safe handling and operation of carbines and modern sporting rifles● Shooting from various stances (kneeling, prone, around cover)● Movement techniques and shooting on the move● Distance shooting drills and multi-target acquisition● Transitioning to secondary firearms (where legally permitted)● Reloads, malfunction drills, and shooting from barricades● Weak side shooting and shooting from cover

  • Safety is paramount. The course includes a comprehensive safety briefing and strict range rules:● Always point firearms in a safe direction● Keep fingers off triggers until ready to shoot● Firearms remain unloaded until ready to fire, except during specific drills● Mandatory use of safety mechanisms between shots, except during rapid fire drills● All firearms treated as loaded at all times● Ammunition checks for steel cores; minimum safe distances enforced● Immediate removal from the course for any disregard of safety instructions
    Emergency Procedures● A detailed emergency protocol is in place:● Designated emergency contacts and roles for staff and participants● Immediate cease fire and firearm clearing in case of emergencies● First aid provided onsite; EMS guided to the range by assigned personnel● Emergency contact and health questionnaire required before live fire
    Pre-Live Fire Safety ReviewParticipants will learn to identify and safely handle:● Misfires● Hang fires● Squib loads Shooters must keep rifles pointed downrange for at least 30 seconds before remedial action.

  • Lesson 1: Malfunction Clearing and Remedial Action● S.P.O.R.T.S. drill: Slap, Pull, Observe, Release, Tap, Squeeze● Clearing double feeds, stovepipes, charging handle impingement, and brass over bolt malfunctions
    Lesson 2: Reloading● Speed and tactical reloads● Magazine positioning and handling● Chamber checks and reload techniques
    Lesson 3: Shooting Fundamentals● Sight alignment, trigger control, breath control, hold control, and follow-through● Stance review: Isosceles, weaver, modified isosceles, and support hand positions

  • Participants will engage in scenario-based drills including:● Mozambique/Failure to Stop (low light and no light)● Instinct/Point N’ Shoot (low light)● Box Drill (multiple targets, low light)● Barrier and Doorway Room Clear drills (low light and no light, with mandatory magazine changes and stoppage clears)● One Hand Engagement (“The Rambo”)● Hostage Harry: precision shot under extreme pressure

Note: Eye and ear protection are required at all times while the range is hot. All participants must adhere strictly to safety protocols and emergency procedures throughout the course.
