REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Rifle (any rifle that has the ability to change magazines), sling, 3-4 Magazines, Mag Pouch, Electronic Ear Protection, Eye Protection, 200-300 rounds of ammo. Any equipment you want to try out.

PREREQUISITE COURSES: Defensive Rile 1, or relative course with proof.

  • This advanced course is designed for shooters seeking to develop defensive and tactical proficiency with carbines and modern sporting rifles. Delivered by CRMP TRAINING LLC dba Phase 3 Training, this proprietary program goes beyond basic marksmanship, focusing on real-world defensive applications and dynamic movement. Participants will engage in a comprehensive curriculum covering shooting stances, movement techniques, positional shooting (kneeling, prone, and advanced prone positions), use of cover and barricades, distance drills, multi-target engagement, and transitions to secondary firearms (where legally permitted).
    Key skills include:● Reloads and malfunction clearing (S.P.O.R.T.S. method)● Shooting fundamentals and stances (Isosceles, Weaver, modified stances)● Shooting on the move, weak side shooting, and barricade techniques● Advanced prone positions (rollover, reverse rollover, broke back prone)● Multi-target acquisition and rapid engagement drills● Safety protocols and emergency response planning

  • Safety is paramount throughout the course. All participants must adhere to strict range rules, including muzzle discipline, trigger control, and mandatory use of safety devices. Emergency procedures are reviewed and practiced, with designated roles for staff and participants in case of incidents. Eye and ear protection is required at all times on the range.

  • Students will participate in progressive live-fire exercises, including warm-up drills, updrills, movement drills (forward, backward, lateral, zig-zag), and advanced barricade scenarios. Emphasis is placed on accuracy, situational awareness, and safe firearm handling under stress.

  • Participants must sign a release, complete a health questionnaire, and comply with all course policies. Failure to follow safety instructions will result in immediate dismissal from the course.
